I was able to focus on tasks yesterday. I made bread and the wild plum crumble. It could use more sugar, those little things are sour. Picked tomatoes, did some tidying and, you know, stuff.
Friday is lunch from the local meat market/deli; philly sandwich and what they call autumn coleslaw. The one day of the week I do not make lunch.
Today will be really humid, which means I'll try to focus on inside tasks. It's not as if there aren't plenty. I may not be seizing the day but I am seizing a cup of coffee.

Getting the coffee is a good start!
ReplyDeleteIt is a necessity, Far Side.
DeleteFriday lunch sounds and looks good. Little treats are good for our mentals. :)
ReplyDeleteYou got that right, AC!

ReplyDeleteDoing the best I can, Cheerful.

DeletePlease don't send the humidity. Not having to make lunch is always a treat....and a nice tradition. It's good that you got stuff done yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI'll do the best I can, Lori. I'm trying to keep the limited motivation going. Attempting to clean my office🤷🏻♀️
DeleteDoing your best is all you can do. Can't ask more of you than that.
ReplyDeleteTrue words, Boud!
DeleteCarpe coffeam! What a nice way to begin the day.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny, Jane!
DeleteDelicious sandwiches.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, coffee is always good.
Warm regards to you. Viola
Coffee is a must, Viola!!
DeleteGatto and your lunch, delicious and adorable not necessary in that order ;) Both are very nice photos.
ReplyDeleteGatto thinks he's deliciously handsome, Denise!
DeleteWild plums. How cool is that. A treat. I have regular plums in the fridge and until you mentioned it, never thought about making a crumble. I like that idea. Getting oven fixed next week (fingers crossed).
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the oven. You without a working oven is beyond my ability to grasp, Ivy.
