Tabby just finished a beer.
I don't allow cats on countertops. Mark thinks Tabs is different and should be allowed to be there if that's what he wants. I can relent, sometimes, so I try not to look, but of course I do. The compromises we make in life.

Yes, that sounds like my daughter and her husband and their pups. 😊
ReplyDeleteThose dogs would be easy to spoil, Cheerful.
DeleteCompromise is what we do with our pets. Charlie sometimes likes to command the couch. I let him, it is the warmest place in the house right now.
ReplyDeleteMy dogs had their own sofa in the room I now call the snug, Val. They knew it was theirs. They also had a futon in the bedroom. They were accommodated!
DeleteKeeping cats off counters is like shoveling in the middle of a snowstorm:)
ReplyDeleteI never had trouble until now, Pixie. Tabs is the worst of the lot.
DeleteI have always found that the cat trains you!
ReplyDeleteI'm finding this out, Miss Merry. Dogs always out-numbered cats. Now it's just cats and they are taking advantage.
DeleteThat looks to be a large Feline, is that a Maine Coon??
ReplyDeleteNo, just a cat born in my barn 11 years ago, Tommy. He and his three siblings.
DeleteMy experience with cats, extensive, is that they'll go where they want, do what they want to do..
ReplyDeleteWhenever they want! I am finding this to be true, Boud.
DeleteYou're a good wife!
ReplyDeleteNah, just have learned to pick my battles, Ivy!

DeleteIt's good that our former girl was older and not a climber.
ReplyDeleteAwww, that's a sweet photo!
ReplyDeleteI used to squirt the cats with a water bottle when they jumped on the kitchen counters. We had one cat who loved water straight out of the faucet and he could often be found in the sink...cats! Who knows what they think!
