Gatto knows how to make the world go away.

I know how to warm the kitchen on a chilly day.

The next three days will be snow, then rain and then snow. We do need the moisture but couldn't the weather gods just pick one? Silly question.

  1. The moisture is slipping away here also. We usually have abundant rain, enough for the crawfish production to fill up everyone's onion sacks. But the rain escapes us at this moment.

  2. We rarely had drought conditions but it's becoming more common, Tommy. I have never had crawfish. Are they like a small crab?

    1. Sandra, crawfish are boiled in a big pot; most households here have the equipment for boiling. It's a family, neighbor, sort of gathering, mostly it's one to two sacks of crawfish, plus onions, garlic, sausage, etc. you eath the tails and suck the heads. Hmm Good.

    1. We are 32 F and rain/snow all day, Miss Merry. We need the rain, so I'm not unhappy about it. Those large temperature changes are disorienting.

  6. We actually had some rain this morning, but we need a lot more — if only we could trade. At least Gatto seems happy. 😊

  7. Fingers crossed: I think we may just get rain and not snow or not much.

  13. I wish it were as easy to make the World go away as Gatto is able to. The Bread looks delish, I think one of the scents of Heaven must be freshly Baked Bread.
