Gatto has his own peculiar ideas about helping me with laundry. I think the point is, as he sees it, that if he is lying on it I don't have to fold it. Nice thought, mister. I guess I'll be running it through the rinse cycle.
As I stated on Sunday, life is different for me and one of those differences is spending much more time in the kitchen cooking and baking. I used the slow cook method for the tri tip roast along with potatoes and onions. Accompanied by steamed asparagus. No pasta!
Of course, life would not be complete without bread.
Looks like Gatto needs his own heated basket! No doubt he likes the warmth of the cloths right out of the dryer:)
ReplyDeleteHe sure does.
DeleteYour roast looks delicious!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lori.
DeleteAwww, just shake the towels and don't tell anyone about the cat hair. ;)
ReplyDeleteYour food photo made me very hungry!
It would be my luck I'd get the towel, Val! Leftover pork roast tonight.
DeleteGatto definitely has the right idea about saving you some chore time, even if it means an extra spin in the rinse cycle! That tri-tip roast dinner looks absolutely mouthwatering, and you just can't beat a fresh, homemade loaf of bread to go with it. I'm so glad you finally got that much-needed inch of rain overnight to soak the ground.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Melody.
DeleteI'm so hungry for your dinner! Cats and spaces.......
ReplyDeleteIt was pretty good, Lori. Cats. I never thought I'd have a houseful of cats.
DeleteOf course I see the bread first. What's this great looking loaf? Too hot to bake here just now. I'll just admire.
ReplyDeleteIt's a no need whole wheat and all-purpose loaf, Boud. I know you like homemade bread.
DeleteSomeday, you must show a picture of Gatto awake. He does at least get up to eat, surely.
ReplyDeleteLook at his girth for the answer to the question, AC. It's best when he is asleep. Awake he is a kind of a naughty brat-cat.
DeleteI'm happy for you about the rain. We could sure use some!
ReplyDeleteYes, it really was needed. Now to see some more, Cheerful. For you, as well.
DeleteI absolutely love Gatto! Your meal looks delicious! I love asparagus and potatoes! And a roast is always comfort food. Glad you got some rain!
ReplyDeleteAsparagus is my favorite vegetable, Linda. Yes, absolutely comfort food. I've told Gatto he has an admirer.
DeleteI love asparagus
ReplyDeleteSo do I, Dora.
DeleteIt looks really delicious. Especially the Roast !!
ReplyDeleteThe roast was very good, Tommy. I usually use the very high heat method of cooking this but tried it in a slow oven. Perfection!
DeleteGatto looks so sound asleep that if you tried to move him he'd go crazy.
ReplyDeleteHe's such a lump he wouldn't wake up, nick. I can vacuum around him. Do the English still call it hoovering?
DeleteYes, either hoovering or vacuuming.
DeleteGatto looks so comfy on those warm towels.
ReplyDeleteHe is a real comfort seeker, Jane.
DeleteGatto is one wise fellow for knowing that nicely laundered and warm towels are comfy. Yes, please on that crockpot dinner says me as I have a pork butt in the crockpot ready for pulled pork dinner with friends later today.
ReplyDeleteGatto is an opportunist, Dorothy. I hope you enjoyed your dinner with friends.
ReplyDeleteThe Food Porn looks ahhhmazing and Gato looks quite comfy.
