April 1. This is the day upon which we are reminded of what we are on the other three hundred and sixty-four. ~Mark Twain, Pudd'nhead Wilson, 1894
What a difference a day makes. The jokes on me, as we had rain yesterday while the majority of the state had snow. I went to bed thinking we got away with something. This is what I awoke to. April Fools, fool. Did you forget where you live?
I did an identical post! :)
ReplyDeleteAll of the kids literally groaned when they came downstairs and saw all the snow.
Guess we're all fools here!
It's a very cruel joke.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more with you about the snow...we ended up with an extra 15" or more. Your place looks beautiful i the snow though!
ReplyDeleteIf this were the end of Nov. I would be posting this photo with a smile. I've had the worst winter for a very long time and I think it's enough already!! 15" would have me taking antidepressants. I'm looking at the catalogue and want more English roses, so come on....
ReplyDeleteI had tea in my coffee and the dishwasher spit crap all over my dishes instead of cleaned them, I couldn't find my coat and....
ReplyDeleteAll this was done by my house - no jokes by someone, just bad luck today.
And oh yeah snow, lots and lots of it - but the joke is how heavy it is! Almost killed myself trying to shovel it!
ReplyDeleteYou need a present. I see someone gave you an award, so go get it and feel better. Very bad house!
ReplyDeleteOh I am so pleased I don't live where you guys live. That is just mean.
ReplyDeleteOh I saw the snow and literally got back into bed for another 15 minutes.
ReplyDeleteOn my way to being cold riding horses I stopped for caribou and chocolate.
Good for you! Ganeida, I would be pleased to not live here as of this moment.
