It isn't apparent in the photo, but we are having a beautiful soft rainfall. It's been a month and a half since we have seen any rain. I hope it rains and rains. The gentle sigh we hear is the earth expressing its gratitude.
It's been so dry. I have watered judiciously around the gardens, but everything else crackles under your feet. This was a nice start, but we sure need more. The lawn is brown, the pasture is dying and the hay isn't growing. But I'm not complaining, I'm just saying. ; p
