As a person of my word, I am following through. I give you...

The General Mondanity of My Life
I washed the French windows yesterday on the inside. I had done the outside the day before. Today I do the French doors. I don't mind doing all those rectangles, for some reason. I also brushed the dead leaves out of the three Boston ferns that spend the winter inside. If this is putting you to sleep, scroll upward and notice the cat is sticking her tongue out at me. About sums it up.

Her reaction to the Boston ferns is like mine. I gave mine to a neighbor across the street when it started filling my living room and shedding. now I see it filling her window!
Fur, food and flora.
Love it! LOL! Mundanity rules! :)
They are messy, Boud. They spent half the year hanging outside in front of the house.
Oh, yes. Plenty of each, AC.
It certainly rules around here. How did I become so dull?
You really are not as dull as you may think you are. Though, we are entering that season of a bit more darkness than we enjoyed this summer.
Cats, food, messy stuff. It is all about living life. And you are doing it!
You are far from mundane. A few words I would use to describe you: interesting, witty, determined, kind and you don't back down, you stand up for yourself and what is right.
Kaye
😊❤️
It seems dull to me, Val. I don't even have the excitement of pitching manure anymore!!
You're going to give me a big head, Kaye!
Emoji work on blogger, 😀 Cheerful.
I LOVE french doors.
Nice work on the ferns, they are such messy plants!
The artificial plants these days look pretty authentic. I mean, you still have to vacuum them now and then, but they don't shed. Or, you can be like I am and just ignore the dust.
All of that crap on the floor is why I gave up on Boston ferns. I do have a nice fake one now though, never makes a mess.
I totally agree with what Kaye said and on top of that, you are one of my favorite writers! The way you are getting your strength back, I do expect you to get out in the barn with Mark. Don't you miss all those ponies? Don't change a thing about yourself...but may I suggest that you write a book???? My Boston ferns get huge outside and then drop hundreds of leaves when I bring them in. They have survived for years.
You are anything but dull! So glad you are here!
So do I, Miss Merry.
They are. And stiil, I really like them, Far Side!
HA!. These are outside plants half of the year, Ami. I have thought of silk flowers to put in vases, but I haven't gone there yet.
As I said to Kaye, don't encourage my head to get big, Lori! I am not a book writer. You need stories and I can't even imagine how they do it. I'm simply glad they do. I do see the ponies, I don't lead them in or out because my balance is awful. The ferns have been making a mess.
Thanks e. Same here.
They are messy, Pixie. I haven't ever had a fake houseplant, I hang these on the front porch half of the year. I'm not sure a fake plant would hold up to that.
We all consider our lives duller than others, but comparison is not a goo thing as we all have our own uniqueness, Sandra.
True, Dorothy.
