Mischief Makers

This is how the flexible vinyl fencing gets flexed.

This is all you need to know about geldings. Perpetual ten-year-old boys. The larger of the two, Ben (half Lippizaner half Arabian), is 25 years old. His impish little buddy, Scamper, is 23 years old. They never grow up!

I have been MIA for a while. Between some serious pain and the serious state of the State, I've had no impetus to do anything. It used to be called down in the dumps. I also wasn't able to sit at my desk, which was a problem. I think this is the longest I have been away from a computer in I don't know how long. I've been going through audiobooks at record speed. Anyway, I'm improving.

We have been slowly moving toward spring. Trees are starting to bud. We do need rain, so far not much in the way of April showers. Otherwise, nothing of any import going on around here. I wanted you all to know I have not gone toes up. Not yet.

Glad to see you back but I wish you weren't dealing with pain still.
Near here there's a horse boarding farm, and you'll see horses with acres to graze, putting their heads through the fence to nibble the grass outside, which is probably a exactly like the grass inside. Silly fellers.

The grass is always greener …
I do recommend a tablet with a keypad. I am using it in my chair right now. I don’t usually compose with it although I could and have, but it’s great for catching on others’ posts.

Good to hear you are not toes up yet! We are moving very slowly toward Spring...but had snow in the air yesterday. We need rain! Hope your pain subsides soon. I understand how pain can be a struggle.

AC beat me to it....the grass is always greener. Just ask them, Boud! The pain is lessening, thankfully.

I had a laptop with conked out a couple of years ago. I spent too much time online when I could bring wherever I went, AC.

I don't know if anyone knows pain in the way you do, Far Side! Yah, toes need to stay horizontal for a while.

Loved seeing the older guys still being impish!
So glad you are feeling a little better. I hope you are having a sunny day your way, too. *hugs*

I love the 'boys' having fun. I'm sorry you're still hurting, though. I second the 'try a tablet' thing, but they're not great for typing, or at least I've found they aren't. I have a tiny keyboard with my tablet and I don't like it much. Please take care of yourself.

I love those boys doing the nibbly ugly face thing to each other. My boys used to do that often too. Now we have sensible gals in the pasture but they do some odd things when they come in heat.
Wink.

Spring is trying here but like you, we could use rain.

Between the state of the state and the pain, I'd be tempted to go down a rabbit hole and not come out for a while.

I hope you're no longer down in the dumps. The alarming government actions don't help.

So happy to see your post and I especially love the video of your boys. The more horse photos and videos the better....they are beautiful!!!! As for the state of the state....I cry watching the news. Hope you are improving everyday. Boy, do I need to call you! Too late tonight, it's dinner time.

I am glad you are improving and the pain is diminishing(?) I hope it is.
I enjoyed the horse video of Ben and Scamper, are they best friends?
Take Care,
Kaye

I'm glad you are feeling better. I am giggling at the flexible fencing and the 10 year old boys. Boys will be boys!

Thank you for writing, and I'm glad you are feeling better!

They are always at it, Rita! I don't remember if yesterday was sunny or not, oh my, but this morning is.

I get to watch that scene all winter, Ami. They are in a paddock until the grass in the pastures gets some growth, so it's daily entertainment.

Mares are all about business, even when in heat, aren't they Val. I got that wink!!

That's exactly what I did Val. Disappeared down the rabbit hole.

Now it's what we expected nick. Defying the courts. I hope those who chose this are enjoying the show.

I can see the boys from the north side of the house, so I can get photos of them, Lori. Soon they will be going to pasture. I have been so despondent as we watch any semblance of democracy disappear. It's taken about 250 years to undo, but it looks like here we are.

It is improving, Kaye. Not great, I'm probably a little worse than when I stated PT. Yes, it's almost always Ben and Scamper playing the head game!

Sandra said...

And who would know that better than you, Miss Merry!! The can make a mess of a fence line.

Thanks, Cheerful.
