I think this sounds like it would be good so I thought I would share.
I had a full day of messy work. I decided to tackle the wood pellet stove myself. I took the revocable interior parts out and gave it a thorough cleaning. I pulled the rotator stirrer out, cleaned it up and slide it back in. When had everything was put back together I turned it on and it rotated. I put a small amount of pellets into the hopper, turned it on again and it worked for about five minutes then stopped. I figured out it needs a bushing, which I ordered. I received a notice it has been sent so hopefully I will have a working heat source soon.
No day is complete without a photo of a tired Gatto.

That dressing looks delicious! I'm impressed that you can figure out your pellet stove. We have been having fires for over 2 weeks. Cozy.
I need to become more adventurous with salad dressings. thanks for the hint! my friend heats with a pellet stove. she also goes thru the throes of cleaning it all....and lugging pellets upstairs...and...but thereat sure feels good!
I’ve had a fire in the snug, the bat cave is only used on holidays and the time I may have company, Lori. The pellet stove is supplemental heat. It’s a hard house to heat! I have often thought I was born the wrong gender. You never hear handywoman or repair woman.
I am also unadventurous with salad dressing, Dreaming. It’s usually just olive oil. I don’t heat with the stove but it is supplemental. That room is difficult to heat. They do put off a lot of heat.
As soon as the open bottles are empty in the fridge, we're going to work on our salad dressing and this one looks like a good one (and healthy) one to try, thanks Sandra.
I would be totally lost on such a project. You do remind me of Leah. She's our tool girl. Dagan takes after his mother--except when it comes to computers--lol!
I'm impressed by your skills with the pellet stove. Especially your diagnosis that it needs a bushing. I have to look that up!
You are much more enterprising than Gato.
Way to go being a pellet stove repair man!
I wish I liked pesto but I just don't. A shame because I grow a lot of basil. .love its smell!
I am impressed by your handywoman skills. So few women tackle the kinds of jobs you take on.
Gatto is quite the handsome fella!
I'll bet that dressing is delicious!
I've never made pesto.
I'm impressed you can fix the stove!
I suspect Gatto will also appreciate the working heat source.
Impressive. If it is mechanical, I have a hard time with it. However, I'm starting to get a bit better at that.
Tired Gatto!
It's good, Dorothy. I added a little more oil.
I won't deal with the motors, Rita. That is not for me. You are fortunate to have both of their skills available.
The bushing must have worn out or got lost at some point when the motor was replaced.
Gatto is a creative snoozer, AC!
I need some overalls, Far Side.
I grow a lot of basil, too. I make pesto and basil cubes that I use in sauces, Sue. I've brought a plant inside to see if it will overwinter.
I like it. Miss Merry.
Simple, Dora. A blender or food processor, basil, garlic, grated parmesan and olive olive .
It's not fixed yet, Cheerful.
Oh, you got that right, nick!
I don't deal with electrical or motors, Val. But some things I can figure out.
Glad to read that you got word that it got shipped.
PS: LLLLLLOOOOVE the dressing. Looks killer. Been making dressing and it's just so fun.
A busy day but a good job well done. Gatto looks adorable and thank you for the recipe.
I’ll have to show my daughter your recipe for the vinaigrette—it looks like something she’d really enjoy.
Gatto looks like he’s found a comfortable spot.
Me, too. It's getting cold out there.
It is good, Ivy.
You are welcome, Denise,
I added more oil, Jane, but I do like it. Gatto is a handful, but he's so cute he gets forgiven.
Snowed all day here. Burrr. But sooo pretty.
We haven't had any precipitation, Ivy. Snow is pretty, especially the fluffy kind.
I have a lot of pesto I made this fall in the freezer so I will be trying this dressing. I'm sure it will be delicious.
I used more olive oil that the recipe calls for but I'd make it according to recipe and change what you want afterward, Lori.
