Too Cold for my bones.

What a winter!

I think it's too cold for those southern guys who have taken over the state, Tommy.

Sandra said...

This is normal for us, Lori. We actually don't get as cold as we used to. I'm feeling rather delighted about this!

I am thinking that is not so cold, and then I remember Fahrenheit.

Sandra said...

I looked and the app doesn't have a Celsius conversion. So, yes, it's cold AC!

Pixie said...

Chilly. Maybe those ICE boys will freeze their nads off.

Oh wow. Yup, we have some of the same going on here. I'll be out and about doing chores. If it gets to zero on Saturday, I may go out snowshoeing as long as I can avoid the winds by hiking in the valleys.

I am so with Pixie! Freeze off their nads.

Sandra said...

That's what I thinking, Pixie. It's evident they have no clue how to dress for it. The footwear I see alone says there's going to be some problems with feet. We northlanders know how to survive.

I would not go snow shoeing, Val, but then I never have! I remember in my 20s skiing in subzero weather. What was I thinking!
You, Pixie and I, and AC, know how these temps feel.

Thanks for sharing this! Winter is supposed to be cold, and sometimes it isn't as cold as it usually could be.

Not for me...at least not at this time. Maybe when I was a kid!

Our week is like yours! Solidarity. I hope those southern boys have a cool time .

Ami said...

When I was young the cold didn't bother me.
Just *looking* at your temps is bothering me now. LOL

Stay in, stay warm. I just bought some rechargable electronic hand warmers. It was an impulse buy. And omggggg I can't imagine how I did without them!!

Way too cold! Stay warm and safe.

Sandra said...

Yes, Linda. Our winter is warmer than it used to be. This is more like winter as it was. Typical January.

Sandra said...

I grew up her and have lived here most of my life, Denise. I can't say I like double digit subzero temps but you learn how to live with it.The thing I like the least is the heating bill!

Sandra said...

Well, then happy January, Boud! I hope they really chill.

Sandra said...

I handle cold better than heat and humidity, Ami. You can dress for the cold, somehow that doesn't work with heat. Even naked it's hot. Not in that other way.

I should try the heated gloves.

Sandra said...

It's a bit nippy, Cheerful!

nick said...

Yikes! And we think it's cold here if the temperature actually drops below zero.

A little chilly up there Sandra, says I with a smile. We could be getting anywhere up to 21 inches of snow starting Saturday. I wish I had that lovely woodstove of yours. I know you'll be staying warm :)

Brrr from “southern” NH, Sandra, and those temps are similar to what is forecast here this weekend with a lot of snow forecast as well. It doesn’t worry me as own plans include soup and bread making, both of which you know well.

Sandra said...

It's kind of frigid, nick!

Sandra said...

I saw you are in the path, Denise. That is a lot of snow.

Sandra said...

A good plan to stay inside, Dorothy!

Burrrrrr.

Yup!
