Frieda

My cat has an obsessive problem.

Throughout the day, she must do this. And lick plastic.

  1. Similar to the daily doings of some humans, but they're mostly in Congress.

  2. Pixel did this. She never made claw marks on the white cabinet she did it to, but it was a daily thing. None of us could figure out why she did it.

    1. Yes, she isn't scratching, Ami. It's like they do when in the litter box only there is no litter.

  3. She's trying to bury her leftovers? Our cat does that too but she's not so noisy about it. Heidi licks the carpet and couch endlessly. Drives me crazy, especially when I sit on a wet spot:)

  4. I think you need to up her diet, or at least she might think that.

  5. Torties are quirky cats. My tortie will stand at a door, and just scream randomly.

  6. We had a cat who did this when we had to give he a prescription diet - she didn't care for it and was showing us what she thought it was!

    1. At least your cat had a reason. Frieda is tightly wound, maybe this is her pressure release.

  7. That's interesting! I wonder why.

    1. She is the most alert cat I've had. She looks for danger at every corner. Suspicious of everything, so this may be her calming action. I just thought about that.

  8. Maybe she is digging her way out to somewhere! ;)

  9. Since I am the only Pet here in this house, I don't know what to think about this matter.

    1. That's funny, Tommy. I have never been the only pet in the house.

  10. How odd! And funny too. I wonder why she does it? She is sure a pretty girl.

    1. She showed up at my barn as a small kitten, Sue. She wouldn't come near me but one evening there she was, standing with her front paws on the gala of the door wanting in. That was November of 2019. She has her quirks. Unlike me.

  11. I can't view it from where I am however the noise of plastic would drive me up the wall and down the side

    1. I pretty sure I wouldn't want to know what they are often saying about us, Denise!
