Someone in this photo has a name change. Chunk. I think it's obvious which one.
I'm hobbling along with walking sticks and a grimace. Ever hear of the piriformis muscle? A small muscle in the derriere which can press on the sciatic nerve. It's my periodic tormentor. It chose to make itself known again last Thursday. The amount of pain the little jerk can cause is disproportionate to its size. Stretching, massage, not sitting too much but not doing too much, either. This is now my day-to-day. It's improved some.
That's the report from the pain in the ass with a pain in the ass.

LOL!!! Yes, it is obvious. Beautiful cats.
Cute cats. One is a bit chunkier than the other.
I had to laugh at your "report from the pain in the ass with a pain in the ass". Hope it is on the mend soon.
The piriformis is such a little overachiever. I hope you do better soon.
He's obviously living a good life! And yes, my piriformis is in concert with yours! My chiropractor asked if I could walk. I answered that sure, I could walk a mile, or walk from the chair to his door, but I'd be in a lot of pain. He wasn't happy...nor am I. I'm doing my gentle stretches and applying heat. Good luck!
Oh, I'm so sorry. Sciatica pain is awful! I hate it when you try all the tricks, heat, showers, pain relievers and muscle relaxers, stretching, and you are still miserable. I hope you feel better soon.
He or she, the cat, is pretty chonky.
Isn't life interesting? We get to learn new words and new ways of hurting:)
Hope you're feeling better soon.
