Good Monday Morning
The last bearded of the season.
We had a light overnight rain. Not enough but welcome anyway. Another hot, humid day on the way. I got the rest of my seeds strewn, maybe the light rain was the weather gods' gift to me for that.
I do try to stay away, as much as possible, from the insanity of my country....but. I saw the clip of the trumplodite's interview on NBC. May I say, quite presidential of him. Odin help us.
Beautiful photo! I saw the interview.
ReplyDeleteSo mature and presidential, right?
DeleteBeautiful flower there. That person can't tolerate the slightest pushback. Trumpelthinskin.
ReplyDeleteTrumplelthinskin! Nails it, Boud.
DeleteMy tall purple iris were a gift from my late neighbor Peggy. I remember when they bloom and am sad when the season is over.
ReplyDeleteA poignant memory, Miss Merry.
DeleteHahaha....Trumplodite and Trumpelthinskin! Love it! I cover my ears and make sounds...and quickly walk away to look at pretty things...like your flowers!
ReplyDeleteNot a bad idea, Dreaming.
DeleteI am pretty sure that irises couldn’t be more beautiful than that.
ReplyDeleteThey need to be moved, AC. They are being crowded out.
DeleteYes, poor fellow can't stand people who stand up to him. I just read an article by a paramedic who says he's sure Trump is suffering from congestive heart failure as well as dementia. That makes sense. Not much chance of him going on the recommended low-sodium diet.
ReplyDeleteNo one ever has told him no before in his life, Cheerful. He does not look well, that's for sure.
DeleteOdin helps us indeed. Toddler tempertantrum.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise those bearded iris flowers are so incredible!
We are having good rains today. Too bad the humidity and dew point are the same! Yikes and yuck.
Maybe I should talk to Thor, Val. We need some steady rain, it's dry. It's too humid for outside work, for me. Yikes and yuck for sure.
DeleteI watched a bit of that interview too. What a stupid, stupid man.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, Sue.
DeleteVery, very pretty flower.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ivy.
Delete❤️
DeleteWell, Sandra, it's 94 degrees here with 92 percent humidity. Summer has arrived in Louisiana. Those bearded Iris???
ReplyDeleteI would become a puddle on the red bricks, Tommy. Yes, bearded iris. They are finished for the season.
DeleteSure hope Odin can do something about evilness that in white house.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we should sent Thor an email, Dora.
DeleteI’m glad you at least got a little rain. Hopefully those seeds take off for you now.
ReplyDeleteWe got more rain overnight. I'm imagining beautiful flowers, Jane.
DeleteGorgeous flower!!!
ReplyDeleteAren't they beautiful, Linda.
