Hard frost is coming.
Last blooms of the season. See you later lovelies, your long rest is near.

Oh, why, why, why do you keep leaving us?

ok, I don't really want to ask, but how on earth did you get that shiny black surface so dust free? are you superhuman or what?

Elizabeth, I'm not leaving, my flowers are. I picked the last blooms before the hard frost hits. I am not so clear sometimes! I was being melancholy over the loss of a lovely couple of weeks and roses that were very happy.

julochka, I am wonder woman, but not with housework. You should have seen it yesterday! It has been extremely dry, warm & windy. Open windows, blowing dirt, lots of soil in the house. I could have planted a garden! I started removing actual soil from all surfaces yesterday. We got a kittle rain and it is chilly, so windows are closed. I think I'm safe.

Always sad to see the end of the warm weather. We did have marvelous couple of seasons but it is fast becoming winter. I heard through the grapevine that there is to be a ton of snow this year. I am getting my shovels at hand!

So, where are you? I need my political fix and you are the one who to do it.

Miss your face, girl. Make thee visible please.

We are visiting friends in Washington and lo and behold, about 10 exquisite horses crossed a field and I immediately thought of you and your horses and wondered how you are and hoping a little bit of sunshine may have come your way if good wishes, at least mine, could take that form.

I will write when we get back home and until then I just wanted to let you know that you are missed and that, truly, it doesn't take a horse to remind me of you. I hope this at least brings a smile.

Thinking of you, nearly midnight here and I hope 2012 brings us both some mental clarity to step outside of this "pantano" of smelly and rancid politics long enough to breath some fresh air of reason and realize that for as long as we believe we are going to be able to do something to change this mess, who knows? maybe we will be able to.

Sending you a friendly hug and wishing you the best for 2012 from both of us.

Maybe letting you know that I have a new food blog with every kind of recipe and some photos may be what could get you out of the funk?
Please? Come out and play, the world is totally crazy out there and I need my friend to come and play. We will not discuss politics unless you want to. I just want to know that you are alright. Come and visit, please?

Hugs from here, as always.
