Something for Everyone

You better cut the pizza in four pieces because I'm not hungry enough to eat six.
~ Yogi Berra
Yesterday, the end of humankind, today tacos and Berra, served up on a blog. Lunch was good, the ground is saturated and I will do almost anything to avoid cleaning the house. That's all the news fit to print.

Now we all know why I retired the blog. : )

That photo alone is blogworthy. Keep posting whenever and whatever urges strike you. It's nice to have words or images from up your way.

My inspiration is on vacation. Too hot to think.

Glad you got rain, we really need some. And housework is overrated.

You are a dear, Mel. Thank you. My inspiration left me about 2 years ago, I hung on for a while and once in a while it came back. But it was fewer and farther between. The fact that I have less in my life to inspire me may have something to do with it. : )

We have had a lot of rain this week. Mosquitos are fierce. July and August have been hot and arid for the past few years, so I expect it will be the same this year.

I hope you are feeling better.

Any leftovers? I will bring a jar of homemade salsa. We must have been on the same page, last night we had Ceviche and it was good and Summery. The Sun has finally arrived so I will be spending all of my time in the orchard and the vegetable garden. I will post an update to the flower garden either tonight or tomorrow and one about the rest of the garden after the weekend.

Have a good one and forget about housework, as with all things boring it can most certainly wait.

Yes, there were leftovers and we had it for lunch again. No homemade salsa, though.

It's humid, with just the faintest breeze. No chance of working outside, the mosquitos are the size of small birds, so I am slowly doing this bit and that bit inside. It's the kind of day for sitting on the porch, but the dogs are blowing their coats; I must clean up after them. Ah, well.

i never really understood the hard taco shell - it's completely impossible to eat them, they don't hold together - have you found a way?

These hold together better than they used to, but you can't get much in them, that's why I put so much on the side. Sometimes I just want a hard shell and am willing to put up with it!
