Don't Mess With Frieda

The hallway monitor.

The rain passed us by yesterday. Bah and humbug. My weather app says it will rain today, but that's what it said yesterday. We have wind up to forty miles an hour, so that's a yikes. I went to PT yesterday and feel I am getting back on track. She has helped me a lot. I plan to start getting on track, as in getting things done. Yes, I will moniter my tendency to overdo. Truly.

You can't beat a good PT for getting your strength back. And you're doing the work, good for you. Maybe do a rain dance?

I love the cat! Keeping active is a good thing but we need to make sure we don't overdo things. Wonderful post, as always.

I hope you get rain if you need it. We’ve had a light sprinkle this morning.

Oh no! You didn't get any rain? We did get some up here. Nothing like we could have used with this drought, but we did get a couple of downpour bursts that didn't last long. More thunder than actual rain, but with ferocious winds. It is drizzling some today. So light you have to really look to see it, but we'll take it. I hope you get something today.
Glad the PT is helping...and glad you are not overdoing it. ;)

Oh dear, this cat seems to have only three legs. The other must be hiding.

I'm so glad you are feeling better. Now, be caution and take your time in getting things done. Here's a plan: one day work, next day a semi rest day and so on and so on. Work and chores are always waiting.
Take Care,
Kaye

I took your advice on the rain dance, Boud. It worked!!

Thanks, Linda. She has really helped me along. Now I just need to behave.

We did get rain, AC. We need more, but I'm not complaining. Yet.

It rained yesterday, Rita. Lovely rain. The PT will be in Hawaii the rest of this month so it's up to me to do the work. I can be bad about that, but I need to remind myself I'm only hurting myself.

My stern Frieda, e! She is my first Tortie and all I've heard about them is true, she something else.

Hopefully you got some rain, Dora. We did.

I'm so glad to hear it rained in the fire area, Far Side. We did get rain yesterday.

The one she's hiding is here secret weapon to use on those who break the hallway rules, nick.

Ok, Kaye. I'll be good. I'll follow your plan and mind my behavior!

😄 you read Frieda right, Pixie!

woke up to thunderstorm warnings all night. We got 3/10th of an inch. . . .

We had the same weather on Thursday, Miss Merry. Dark sky and rumbling thunder. No rain. The rain came yesterday.

I love your hall monitor. We have had a lot of rain and wind lately but it seems to be very calm today, a lovely sunny day. I hope you get your rain but not too much, just enough. Good luck with your getting back on track. I really have to start doing that too. It's round the corner coming :)

Frieda is good at her job, Denise. Getting started is the hard part, isn't it.

Understandable about the over-doing bit. Been there too. Though this weekend, I was lazy sorta. I got stuff done. Just not what was the "the list".

Glad to read that you're feeling better and that she helped you. That rocks.

Sandra said...

It does rock, Ivy. If you got things done, that's what counts.

I heard someone today say something along the lines of (and this is good words for me), don't do today, what I can't recover from by tomorrow. Or something along those lines of live to fight another day thing. I liked that.
