My Thursday afternoon adventure. Spending ninety minutes in an MRI machine. Ninety excruciatingly painful minutes. I cannot lay on my back, my bulging spine screamed at me the entire time. I was about at the end of my rope when I heard the nice young man say it was finished. I really wanted the results, so I sucked it up. I think I deserved a ribbon around my neck.

Well done for enduring the misery. Consider that a gold medal!
Hugs!
Frankly Sandra, I think you deserve a medal!!!! Sounds excruciating! Sending hugs to one very brave lady.
This sounds terrible. I'm glad it's over and now I hope you get useful information from it.
That's awful. I really hope and pray the results will be worth the pain.
Good Lord! 90 minutes sounds excruciating. One would think that, in this age of electronic and technological miracles, they'd come up with something, like music or a tv overhead, to take your mind off what was happening.
Sandra, I hope the outcome of the measure will be productive for the diagnosis. Get Well Soon
It sounds terrible. I hope the results offer options for relief.
I have decided that I will die rather than submit myself to that.
I'm sorry it was so painful in the MRI and hope you get the results you wanted. I have trouble breathing when I lay flat and they keep telling me to "breath naturally". I just had an MRI and I guess we are going to repeat it in six months. . . (not happy).
You definitely deserve a medal. So sorry for the pain 😢 😭 you endured.
My dear Sandra... 90 minutes in that box... oh horror, I've definitely been in one myself at least 10 times in my life, but not that long... I would have peed myself in there :)))
I wish you all the best, especially good results... kiss, Andreja!
I am so sorry about the torture! I hope they learn something that can help.
Thank you, Barbara Anne!
More determined than brave, Denise!
I was in a lot of pain so I really hope something comes of this, Boud.
Me, too, Sue.
They do have music but you can't hear it over the noise of the machine.
Thank you, Tommy.
I asked for the entire spine so I knew it would be a long time. The pain is what got to me, Dreaming. I had to lay flat, which was awful.
And submit myself I did. I knew how long it would take. The pain in my back I had not anticipated but should have, AC.
If you could breathe naturally you would, right? It's sort of a torture chamber, Miss Merry.
I did nothing yesterday, Linda. I gave the back a rest, which was a good choice.
I will admit I had the idea that I might do the same to myself, Andreja. That would be embarrassing! 10 times, yikes!
I am keeping my hopes in check, but I do have some, Cheerful.
I've had several MRI scans without any trouble, but before I went in the scanner a few days ago I was getting some back pain and hoped I wouldn't get more pain while I was in the scanner. Luckily I didn't. But Jesus, ninety minutes of severe pain without any pain relief, that's dreadful. I admire your fortitude and your determination to keep going to get the best possible result.
I am like you I cannot lay on my back on a hard surface. I remember the last time I had an MRI, I was like you, when is it going to end, but it's never been that long. Fingers crossed you get positive results.......
You do deserve a ribbon. And a cupcake.
It's a good thing farm girls are tough! Hopefully you are going to learn a lot from this painful experience.
I echo the ones who say you deserve a medal. That sounded absolutely terrible. I hope you get good results and some answers soon.
