Nothing Much

I wanted to video Zing, aka Mr. Wonderful, at his hay, but as soon as he spotted me....he left. Talk about disrespect. And I was his human mama. Ingrate.

The eternal two-year-old is twenty-four. It seems like last week I was raising this orphaned foal.

It was in the 30s F yesterday, but blustery winds override temperature every time. Turn the volume on to hear the wind chime. I made Italian flat bread yesterday and we shared one at dinner with the tomato sauce I made during the day and some egg noodles. It was a good day to spend in the kitchen.

Today will be another quiet one. I'll make some bread, oven roast ribs and listen to my latest book. It's what I do to relieve the stress many of us are feeling. May you all have your own way of decompressing.

That's a lovely video, speaking of decompressing. And what's the current book?

Dirty Thirty by Janet Evanovich. It's a comedic mystery, perfect for the times. I think Zing walked away because when he's in front of a camera he is always gussied up! No candid shots allowed.

Wow, time goes quick. I love home days playing in the kitchen. Yesterday bagels and waffles. The fun! Happy Sunday.

Zing looks very perky and young!
Love your wind chimes!
The flat bread looks so good. New to me, for sure.
I'm rewatching Vera--lol! And doing a little painting of flower petals. :)

Do I love this post! I have been anxious to see some of your horses and there is the beautiful Zing! More videos would be great ...the rest of the herd.Yum to the flat bread. Can't beat it...or can you? Had a very good talk with our daughter tonight (chief of staff for a state assemblyman) and she really helped me out with the political scene. Will call and share it with you soon.

More. Many years ago a group of us started reading the Janet Evanovich series and flew through dozens of books. They were such fun.

I think I've read most of Janet Evanovich's books, but now I'll have to go back to the library and see if they've got more.
That video was perfect with the chimes, it was as though Zing was nearly dancing to that music.
Beautiful.

I've made bagels once, decades ago, Ivy. Time does fly by.

It's good and even better, it's easy, Far Side!

Thank, Jo-Anne!

The chimes are musical, Cheerful.

Zing still acts like he's 2, Rita. Perhaps because he was an orphan. The bread is simply flour, salt, olive oil and water.

Zinger still thinks he's in the show ring, Lori! The bread is good and simple. It is really concerning that Musk has access to all federal payments, especially considering his attitude regarding SS. This isn't even a pretend democracy we have now.

It is a fun read, Lori. Lighthearted is welcome.

I'm always hungry, Dawn!

The chimes are melodic. Zing learned to dance as a halter horse in the ring and as a dressage horse. He is certain he is center of the universe, Val!

I loved the video, such a soul pleaser to see Zing and hear the chimes. That yummy bread too! I have never made flat bread. I haven't made bread anything in a very long time. I really should jump in! Thanks for the inspiration.

Start again with flat bread, Denise. Easy, quick and good!
