A Note

Some people put all of their ducks in a row.
It seems I put all of my plants in a row.

This is the view I saw the other day as I lay in my chair suffering the insult of a very bad cold. Of course the weather has been gorgeous while I have been miserable. Not fair.

Anyway, this is a note to say I am still alive. I'm slowly getting better, but I don't have much energy. It really is amazing how a 'simple' cold can put a person off their feet.

  7. I guess knowing that I am tired too may not make you feel better, but at least it is nice to know someone can understand why we need to have permission from one foot to move the other :)

Tomorrow is number 5 of 8. A week or so of misery guaranteed and then back to cooking and visiting, and reading and...and...and...

Feel better, we need to be totally ornery to put up with the bs that is coming down the pike. I will come back from the other side if need it be to vote this time. Geez, one cannot even take a break these days without the world coming apart at the seams, really.

  10. deb and Allegra, I am still unwell. I get a headache if I am on the computer, so I avoid it. I am a little better and hope to be on the mend soon.

I really appreciate the concept and sentiment behind awards, but I cannot participate in them anymore. I have too may and I have not got the time to devote to participating properly. To all who have honored me, I am grateful but I don't have seven more things to tell anyone about myself! And I'm a terrible passer-oner.
