Sunday

The sum total of my day.

Saturday was a day of watching an old western, reading (listening) a book and baking a loaf of bread. Other than focaccia it's been since last spring that I made bread. It felt good to get my hands in dough. Now to get my hands on some dough......

If you mean the folding green kind, aka lettuce?? That loaf looks crusty and lovely. It's a while since I baked bread, come to think of it.

Mmmm, my FIL called greenbacks: Geetus.

Hands on dough is the best!

Boud, yes, some lettuce with some bread!

I need to get back to it now that it's cold. I try not to buy bread. It doesn't always work out.

Val, it tastes good, too!

Yep, greenbacks.

Thanks Far Side. It is, even if I say so myself!

Ivy, it sure is. You were once again in spam.

Baking bread is surely one of the pleasures in the kitchen and working the dough by hand is a stress reliever too. Your finished loaf looks good just from the photo, Sandra!

Thanks, Beatrice. It was good and you are right about the process of making bread.

Thanks for freeing me from Spam.
I get trapped there often.
Kinda wonder if it's because I'm
on the tablet. Not sure?
