Take Comfort Where You Find It

Frieda enjoys our late afternoon book time.

So do I.

I plan to make an arrabiata sauce for dinner today. I haven't been using the tomatoes I processed and froze. I think it's time for some sauces. Maybe that ultra-simple focaccia as well. The medication I started a couple of months ago, an add-on to the fluoxetine, has helped my mood and motivation. I am still struggling with pain and fatigue, but I am also finding ways to live and work around it. Wellbutrin comes with a strong warning about alcohol, it can cause seizures, so I have given up my couple of glasses of evening wine. I survived. Feeling engaged in life means more to me than wine. Which is saying a lot.

I am glad you are feeling better. Perhaps, one day the pain issue will be resolved. I wish I were more like you in getting things done. Plus, you have great a attitude, "Life limps along.Go with it or be left behind."
I hope Frieda, is better, too.
Take Care,
Kaye

I'm glad you're doing better. You certainly sound more engaged. Now I have to look up arrabiata, if I'm spelling it right.

Kaye, my sage advice! My one super power was my determination. After the TBI I lost it, along with other parts of me. It took a long time for me to come to a peace with that. That I am regaining some of that part of myself is heartening for me. I've spent a couple years getting little to nothing done, so don't feel bad.

Boud, I am and I'm glad. I', sure you now know arrabiata is a tomato sauce with chili pepper to spice it up.

Ahhhhh. I was wondering what arrabbiata sauce was. Never tried it. Any sauce would taste even better with your focaccia on the side. So glad you are continuing to be on a roll and feeling good about it!

I'm glad you're feeling better. A book and a cat sound like a good mix. Our poor cat is suffering from arthritis. We can't take her to the vet, always a horrific experience for everyone, but especially for her.

Lori, it's more like a crawl than a roll, but it is movement. I didn't get the bread made.

Thank you, e. I happy for you and Mercy!

Pixie, it's kinder not to take her. I've become a total cat lady.

Good to hear that something is working for you to feel better. I so understand the pain and fatigue, it is part of my daily life and very hard to deal with. Some days are real hard.
