oh yes! now how in the heck do we train ours to do that?

Guess what? I am going out! One of my favorite organic nurseries is having a sale today, and I am looking for a Montmorency cherry tree since the old one - planted and neglected before we moved here eleven years ago - never responded to all my attention and hopes for a recovery. I should learn to give up but I doubt that will happen in this lifetime.

Wouldn't you know it? my second sojourn into the world and it has to be a nursery. Have a great weekend.

PS: When you are ready for your roses let me know what your preferences are. Some would not grow well in your zone even inside cozy pots where they can be moved inside somewhere warmer than the tundra. And if you prefer antique roses or modern ones. Just find photos or names and I will make a list for you. Off I go. Thanks for the smile.

That's my no. one pet peeve, not having the tp replaced after the last sheet has been used! Allegra has the right idea, going into a nursery in the mid winter is such a treat...to see and smell all of new fresh growing things. Mmmmm!
