Incredible

My friend Heidi sent this out in an email. These are sand. Can you believe it? What a shame they can't last. These were sculpted for a competition in Oregon. I'm amazed at the ability to create beauty from seemingly nothing.

love the viking in the middle and the one where it looks like the guy's legs are going down into the ground. amazing! i can't even make a primitive kiddie-style sand castle. it must be interesting to work in such an ephemeral art.

I love these. Weird enough forme. I like the dragon erupting from the sand to eat the guy with the spade. Gives you pause for thought, what?

I think they are incredible. How can someone do this with sand.

Incredible work and so intricate. I wonder how long it takes them to create these and if they are individuals or a group of people? Way neat.

love the dragon eating the guy with the shovel? Perhaps the creator felt a little overwhelmed with the sand?

These are absolutely amazing.
That said, is it just me, or do you really want to run and jump on one of them? (I am usually not a destroyer of things, so it shocks me that I have that desire...but I do!)

I want to put them under glass.
