Overindulgence, Or How Digital Technology Created A Monster

Excess on occasion is exhilarating. It prevents moderation from acquiring the deadening effect of a habit. ~ William Somerset Maugham

As anyone who comes here can see, I have been creating my own wallpaper. Incrementally, but steadily added to my borders are some of the hundreds of photos I have. I'm like a muralist who finds she can't stop painting and goes from building to building in a never ending quest for the end. Or, perhaps it's like finding a loose thread and unable to resist the urge to give it a tug and then not able to stop as you watch yourself unravel the sweater on your back as you reveal your nakedness. Excessive to the point of obsessive.

Love the pic. It is getting a bit crowded in here :)

However, this place is like your house - make it the way YOU like it since you have to live here.

I dislike clutter, so my house is not cluttered. But, I guess I need to clutter up something and I have sooooo many photos. And I like toys and the gadget thing on here is irresistible to me!

Think of it as a photo blog with opinions!

Great picture! Don't they always say it's the journey and not the destination? Keep adding to the photos!!

I like it! I love looking at all your new photos and stuff. It's always fun to stop by....
And what the heck, it's your space, and you should be able to do what you like with it.

I've never been one for moderation. : )

I'm a visual so the more pics the better say I! Besides this is your spot. You do whatever makes you happy in it.

This is self-imposed fretting. : ) I have an eye for design and tend toward a clean look. But I can't seem to reconcile my natural inclination and my desire to clutter up the blog. I'm so torn.
