On The Other Hand

I couldn't end the week with such a depressing topic, so I will send us into the weekend with a smile. The peonies are blooming.

Judy, get planting! They are just too pretty not to have. I counted tonight and I have 10 bushes, but only four of them are really large. They all came with the farm. Like the rhubarb.

Liss, the bee is the best part. It is a smile maker!

Queen, I'm sorry you can't grow them. But there are many beautiful things we can't grow here because it's too stinkin' cold. : )

I could bask in the smell of the peony...save for the ants! I don't blame them for being around that sweet smell and ruffled petals.
