Beautiful
I have been absent. I have been busy. I will be back. It's summer in Minnesota, which lasts for about thirty minutes. In the first ten minutes, we get peonies.
Sandra, they are my third favorite flowers - my roses are dying hearing this - and yours are exquisite. We have another week of rain so this one is...week six. No summer here now and I suspect none later...sigh.
Elizabeth, thank you. I have not been on my computer for awhile, so I have missed the peonies on blogs. I have a lot of catching up to do.
gsc, I'm glad I made you think of your mom. I need to supply you with green thoughts out there in the desert!
Allegra, I'm sorry to hear it won't stop raining. We need to have some rain. It never works out right, does it? I am ordering the 'Allegra' rose. I'll be able to look out my office window and see it.

Gasp!
I love love peonies, these are so abundantly fabulous.
Thank you for taking the time to gift them .
And your words... so witty and true. Enjoy every summer moment.
You know, in bloggy land there have been many peony posts (mine included), but I think this is my favorite!
Oh those peonies! Is there a more glorious flower anywhere? They remind me of my mom....that's a good thing!
