Tween Thinks & Thanks

Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again?  ~Winnie the Pooh

I think I am very grateful for an indoor arena. Without it I would have no place to let horses out to. My farm is covered in ice. I sometimes think I'm getting too old for this!

I'm not getting enough outside stimulation lately. I'm getting plenty of blood-pressure raising stimulation, but my mind is stuck in a rut of difficult work and unpleasant news. I know this will pass eventually.

I have an opportunity to get out this evening and I think I should try hard to take it! It would go a long way to helping with the prior problem.

It's very important to have diverse stimulation for the brain.

Wow this cold weather is quite a challenge! Be careful out there! We are in a huge heat wave down here and Ice seems like a physical impossiblity. It melts in seconds here and an icey drink last about 2 minutes : )
Funny how ice sounds so nice and refreshing to me and like such a nightmare to you : ) These extremes certainly make us appreciate the moments of temperate weather!

I know all about brain drain. Dearest has insisted I have a laptop available this year to give me something interesting to do while I wait.

I don't want your ice but I wish down south could have the water element. At this rate a whole state could get burnt to the ground. A little heavenly water would help a lot about now.

I know the fires have been horrific. They have had a long drought, hasn't they?

We actually are well below normal snowfall, so although there is all of this ice, we are dry. Strange, isn't it?

I have a total brain drain going on. I'm absolutely no fun at all!

13 years of drought. *sigh*. Actually this does not surprize me. Antarctica is the driest continent on earth despite all that snow lying around. No precipation.

13 years! No wonder the fires are so awful. And to think they were started on purpose.
