Good Morning For Me

I got a small gift today. I was to get the cast off on Monday. The Doc won't be in until later in the week, so it came off this morning! He told me it's not healed yet, but if I behave around the horses the brace will be adequate.

I hurts like, well A LOT! It's muscle that really hurts, so I need to spend time with the brace off, using it a bit to strengthen it. I don't want to pay for therapy, so I will be proactive in my own treatment. Gotta keep government out of my right to go broke on my health care you know! Sorry, sarcasm comes too easily to me.

Back to point, I'm almost free. YIPPEE!

Way to go with not taking the therapy route and taking a DIY attitude. As much as you do around the farm, you will have the strength and muscles back in no time. Congrats on the "almost" freedom!

It is a wonderful feeling to be rid of the restrictive cast. I plan to be rid of the weak muscle pain by Monday. : )

How wonderful for you!! Try some water therapy, that should feel real good.
When I was 15 I broke my right arm and was in a bent cast 3/4 of the way up my arm for 10 weeks, needless to say I had one shriveled up weak arm. Just take it easy!

Great to hear you are on the mend! Now be careful around the animals! I agree water therapy is the best.Find a pool or a lake to go to.

Great news Sandra, it must feel good for your arm not to be cooped up in all that plaster. I hope it working again soon.

A paramedic friend told me my foot will take about 3 months to heel properly!! I'm walking on it now just jest sore at the end of the day and I need to take the mary jane's off but still have no uggs to slip into yet.

Oh, doesn't that feel good? (Well at least the air around it must feel good, even if the muscles don't). I'm glad that they didn't make you wait - be careful!!! :)
