I love foggy mornings. When I lived in a small hilltop Tuscan town in Italy in a converted Monestary : ) The fog gathered right below my window every morning and it was truly heavenly to behold! It always burned off by late morning leaving me with a view of the peaked ceramic tile roofs cascading down the side of the hill into the fields, lakes and smaller hills of the valley. Again, heavenly to behold : )
You were so lucky to have that opportunity. Most of my travels have been through books. I am a typical American, I stay put! But I try not to be so typical in my interest in the world. There were such interesting layers to the fog.
