Poetry

The modest Rose puts forth a thorn,
The humble sheep a threat'ning horn:
While the Lily white shall in love delight,
Nor a thorn nor a threat stain her beauty bright.

I've gotten a little lazy on the poetry research. I find these little ditties and go with them!

The lilies are now in bloom, as well as the delphiniums. It's so pretty.

Enjoyed the poem even though you call it a little ditty! I am still waiting for the delphiniums to bloom as well as the lilies so I can enjoy yours!

Your blog is so beautiful.

Just so you know, your comment touched me so much that I wrote about it (and linked to you) from my blog.

Thank you...

I liked it, but it certainly isn't epic!

Jan, I'll head over to read what you had to say.
