I've noticed the light shifting outside, the longer shadows, the cooler mornings. But I'm holding on to summer. These changes remind me to enjoy every last day.
I can't believe how cool it is and it's still August! What a gorgeous picture..not so sure I'm ready for fall because I know snow will fly shortly. THAT I'm not ready for but I do love the smell of fall...crisp everywhere.

Jules, I don't know where summer went, I spent most of it in a cast. : ) You had a nice break in CO, so you got a little summer fun in. I was envious. : )
Fall is creeping upon us. This morning I awoke to a lovely fog wrapping the landscape in its moist countenance.

aaaaagh! Don't say that! I'm not ready for winter! (Notice that I didn't say fall....because that season only lasts for 3 days here in MN).
I'm not ready for winter either but we are having great weather right now!
I do enjoy fall, so I'm all for it. Too bad winter follows!

I love this time of year and I am looking forward to a couple of beautiful months. It is surprising how early it gets dark!
I can't believe this! It is only 17 Celsius here today. I love fall to. I wish there was only 3 seasons and winter wasn't one of them!
