March Madness

Howard knows how to handle depressing overcast March days.
Grey, dreary March. I read of spring in New York, Illinois, Oregon and see only snow, mud and wet manure in my own landscape. This is the hard time, the patient time. I am not a person who waits well. There is, of course, nothing to be done about it. I fret and fuss anyway, complaining to the universe about the mess that is March. And the universe smiles its' lopsided grin and continues as it will.

I agree with you about March. And worse; it seems to be the longest month of the year. It snowed here, this morning. WTH????

I bet you have crocuses peeling through the mud! That always makes things better!

Not yet, too much snow is till hanging on. We have about half a foot in the forecast tomorrow. Rain tonight. What a mess.

Glad you are feeling better and hope Spring catches up to you soon. We had a nice rainy Sunday, and it was so nice to see rain without sleet or snow mixed in. Yours will come, I'm sure of it!

Your dog is adorable -- hang in there, although April is sometimes the "cruelest month," no?

No Spring here. But you must remember that if the plants are not drowning in March or floating all over the garden we claim Spring is here. It usually comes on a Thursday and if you aren't paying attention you absolutely miss it until next year.

We put the potatoes out a couple of days ago. Who knows what we will get since the forecast is for lower temperature and more rain than usual. Barry is making plans for the ark. Love your dog, he had the right idea.

Coming on Autumn here. Lovely. The snow you may keep. Ghastly stuff. ☺

Howard...you are so cute! We have lots of mud here as well. I am always happy to be past that stage. I hope that you get some warmth and dry weather soon!

No spring here yet. Something like 6 inches of new snow.
