It's beginning to look a Lot Like Winter

Zing enjoying the hay.

Saturday was an all day snowfall. We got about five inches of the fluff. It's so much prettier than the bleakness of November. So, now here we are, the last month of 2025. How can time move so quickly by? If I could place time in a bottle. Don't I wish.

Fresh snow always looks beautiful. It's snowing now as I type this.

It's looking festive out there. Here it's surprising if we get snow before January. After that, look out.

We were snow covered on Saturday night. It was so pretty and melted on Sunday morning. Now tonight they are forecasting at least four inches and I have a feeling I will have a house full of children experiencing a "snow day".

Whenever the weather report says 'snow', Eric brings out the same joke.

"Weatherman says expect six inches. Oh, and it might snow."

Snow is beautiful when it's just fallen but horrible when it turns to slush and ice.

It happened faster in your neck of the woods, AC.

Good advice, e.

It is pretty, Lori.

A pretty winter scene coming your way, Pixie.

January is when we usually go deep into the below zero zone, Boud.

I was just watching the national weather and you are in the area for snow, Miss Merry, so I assume you have a house full of children!

Thank you, Linda!

You got some snow, I think, Rita. And now you can see it! Zing is turning 26 and he still thinks he's a 2 year old.

Zing is a clown, Lori. I saw the national weather report and it looks like you may be in for it. I have a small sliver of hope something is coming.Soon, I sure hope.

Yes, Somehow it missed you, Far Side.

We usually don't get that until late March/early April, nick. Sometimes a January thaw, which is awful.

Beautiful snow photos! I used to love the first snows and taking a hike in it. Safer for me to stay indoors these days, lol! Happy December Sandra :)

New snow always looks so wonderful...especially if you don't have to get out and shovel it.

How does the time go so fast? I dunno. It's just whooshes past. I mean, it's already the 3rd? But how? How I ask, how?

Sandra said...

I'm rather tippy myself, Denise! Happy December to you.

Sandra said...

I don't do any shoveling, Dreaming! Mark volunteered to plow and I didn't argue.

Sandra said...

It is, Sue.

If you come up with an answer Ivy, let me know. Then I'll try to come up with a remedy!

We had about 5 inches of fluffy snow on Tuesday. It was the first of the season and lovely to look out from indoors our cozy apartment.
