Everything sublime is as difficult as it is rare. Baruch Spinoza

The past two days I have actually been productive outside. I got everything at the top of my list accomplished, making me a happy camper. I will see if I am able to pull on my big girl pants to face today's chill and mulch leaves. I have become such a delicate flower. It's sort of embarrassing.

Of course, it wouldn't be this & that without a food photo, specifically a photo of a bowl of pasta. All I had in me last evening was the energy for quartering tomatoes, cutting asparagus and garlic, tossing it into a pan with olive oil and butter. Pappardelle, asiago cheese and it's dinner. Pasta is so often my salvation.

That's the news. Enjoy Wednesday one and all.

The dish looks really tasty, but i am not sure that I would like the asparagus.

I've been digging in two closets and pulling stuff out to use up. I hope you have a sweet day!

I love asiago cheese. My son introduced me to it. That's a great pasta dish.

Asparagus is probably our favorite vegetable, AC! I always have a lot of pasta on hand. It makes for an easy meal.

It does feel good to get things done, e. I'm probably not going to mulch today. It's windy and rather chilly.

It is really good, Boud. Everyone knows Parmesan but there are other grating cheese. Have you had Pecorino Romano or Pecorino Reggiano?

I was exhausted after finishing our yard so I pulled some of our frozen meals out of the freezer. Today I am cooking for supper guests; baked carrots and chicken enchilada hotdish they are bringing dessert.

I does feel good to get outside work done. I always feel better about myself when I get "chores" done. I am ready for winter (not mentally) with the exception of two flower pots that need to be carried down off the deck and stored. I waiting for the snow to melt.
Your dinner look wonderful, it looks pretty, too.
Take Care,
Kaye

Yum! I didn't get to the leaves, it was windy and cold. Now it's snowing.

Why, thank you, Rita!

I wish I had strength, Lori. Being able to walk is a major improvement. I'm wearing a shoulder brace, which helps be stay more upright and helps with pain.

Thanks, Cheerful! It felt good.
