More of my decorating efforts.
I have finished. The garland and lights around the clock added some color to the snug. The living room gets all the attention, which just didn't seem right. I am now officially finished. Decorating, that is.
Leftover steak became a pasta dish for last evenings dinner.
And......this is what I woke to this morning.
Very windy with about five inches of snow predicted. It seems we will have a white Christmas after all. I am happy about that. The equines will stay in the barn today, because of the wind. A slippery surface and hyped up horses don't go well together. No one needs to be hurt because a tree branch made a cracking noise and of course, horses have never heard that before.

Another outstanding photo of your lights! The house looks so comfortable....we have some similar taste buds. Dinner looks delish and I'm about ready for some pasta. Your video featuring the wind looks very familiar. We are about to go into 3 days of very frigid weather and some snow.
How cosy it all looks. Not the wind though.
May your horses and home both stay warm
Dang, your house makes me want to come and visit you! Love the warm comfy feeling in your photo with all the beautiful cheery colors.
Oh yeah, and your meals too.
My mules are enjoying the weather.
I get it. If a tree falls down in the woods they are like WHAT???? But if they hear gunshots, they are like...ho hum.
My half Arab mare was a hoot. Rocks were monsters depending on her mood.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Christmas lights are one thing I have never bothered with
We are very similar, Lori. Except you are the most social person I think I "know"! I can be, but, there's a but. It wears me out. Pasta is a go-to when in doubt. You weather is similar to ours, except we get colder and you often get more snow.
No, not the wind. A bad day for driving, Boud.
So far, so good, e!
It's not an insurmountable trip, except you can't be gone long. But you are always welcome, Val.
The cats are all around the horses in the barn but have one come anywhere near them when they are coming....OMG a monster!!
I didn't for several years, Jo-Anne, but this year I got the urge. It's pretty at night.
Beautiful to have some light in the long evenings! It is still snowing here, I have shoveled once about three inches and there is a couple more since then. The wind is supposed to come up, since we live in the woods I have to look at the tree tops to tell if it is windy. The snow looks like it is coming out of the east right now.
Such a cozy house!!! And your dinner looks delicious!
There’s nothing like being cozy inside when it’s windy and cold out . ❤️
Picture post card cozy. ... Inside lit for Christmas, snow outside.
Oh yes, I didn't mention it then but I think your last post mentioned your French cooking training.
Glad you got he snow that you wished for. I think we are getting some overnight or tomorrow.
Looks quite jolly there.
Love the colored lights around the grandfather clock! We've had the storm here, too, since last night. Still going last I peeked, but dying down. I am also very glad to have the snow. It is supposed to stay cold for a while so we should have our white Christmas!! :) :)
Glad to know the horses are being well looked after and out of harm's way!
I am enjoying the lights, Far Side. I think I enjoy it more because it's been so long. The wind came from the south for us. I'm guessing we got at least 6 inches. It's currently 7 F and I know it's colder way up there.
It feels cozy, Miss Merry. I often find the simple meals are the best meals.
There sure isn't, Cheerful!
It is lie a picture postcard, Shirley. Snow isn't something you would see much, if at all.
I like the simple food, AC. The French royalty brought Italians into France to prepare the food. They taught the French how to cook and then they made a production out of it!
It feels jolly, Dora.
We should have the snow through Christmas, Rita. It just brightens everything up.
The horses are our boss, nick!
