Sad

A quiet, foggy morning. I've been foggy lately and I'm sure it's the constant underlying stress of the times. Israel bombing Qatar, a US ally. Russian drones shot down over Poland's airspace. I wish I were capable of living in a rose colored bubble. I know there are some who read this who believe we are going in the right direction. I'm not here to change your mind. I know I cannot.

I was sick to my stomach last night when I heard about the Russian drones over Poland. The United States is seconds away from a devastating war. Meanwhile the Department of War went out for seafood.

My strategy for dealing with this sadness is daily resistance.

Men in power (and it is usually men) fight for more power...and the rest of humanity fights the wars for them...and suffers the consequences.

The world is in a kind of turmoil. The USA was never perfect, not even close, but I believe that they helped to keep things of a somewhat even keel.

I haven't given up hope yet. Not everyone is rolling over and playing dead. I hope I'm not wrong.

It is unnerving, Miss Merry. We are in a lot of trouble.

It's good you have a strategy that works for you, Boud.

I couldn't have expressed it better, Rita.

We have turned ourselves into a pariah, AC. My mind roils with too many emotions about this.

I hope so, too, Cheerful. Whatever may stop this better happen very soon.

I find enjoyment in small things. For example the people IN the restaurant calling dumald what he is *to his face* That took courage in a time where people are being disappeared.

Israel is fighting Hamas and they are a sneaky bunch. As for Poland...good for them!
