Hello

Good Friday morning. I have been busy and actually getting what I wanted to do done. It does feel good to accomplish something, although my back disagrees. Backs can be disagreeable, can't they.

Finally we have autumn weather. After I finish my goal inside I have another outside. So much to do, so little stamina to do it! I received a text from my son a couple of days ago saying he's coming to visit tomorrow, bringing lunch. It will be good to see him. Gatto always enjoys another human to annoy.

Otherwise, nothing new to report. Today is Friday so it's Philly Friday at the deli. Meaning I don't make lunch. Yippee!! I really do not like making lunch, but I gotta do what I gotta do.

I like Gatto’s perch. Have a Good Friday and visit.

Yes, he's picking up fried chicken. I rarely have it and do like it. My back will moan for the rest of my life, dagnabit.

My father made that box for me when I was a child. It was for my Barbie doll and their clothes. They are still in there!

Sorry about your back, but thank goodness the weather is improving! And that your son is coming, with food. :)

My back betrays me all of the time. So you have my sympathy on that count. And lucky you! You don't have to make lunch for 2 days....and if there are leftovers, you might be able to squeak another meal out of it!

I understand the back problems. No fun. Do what your back will allow.

Spending decades taking care of all those horses comes with a price. So glad that Mark is such an amazing helper. Good that you are making progress. Nice and cool here today.

Oh yes! My back can be very disagreeable!! LOL!
Nice visit with your son to look forward to.
So glad you are getting all these things done. Doesn't matter if it takes us longer than it used to...still just as satisfying when it is finished. ;)

We got to get after things at our own pace. I sure hope your back straightens out soon.
Happy that your son is coming to visit too!

Excellent on your son coming for a visit AND bringing lunch. Sounds perfect. Sorry about your back. Hope it gets time to heal.

I hope you enjoy both Friday and Saturday lunches. I have permanent back injury and scoliosis so I empathize...

I keep lunch as simple as possible - a peanut butter sandwich and some cucumber slices. Nothing elaborate, no big effort. Our big daily meal is in the evening.

It is improving, finally, Cheerful. With food is always appreciated!

I feel almost pampered, Dreaming. A bad back is no fun.

I know you sure do, Far Side.

Yes, that is certainly the truth, Lori (?) Mark is my rock.

Naughty backs, Rita! It's going to take longer whether we like it or not.

You pace is much faster than mine, Val!! It will be good to see him.

My back will never stop giving me a pain, but it can be less painful, Ivy. It will be a pleasant lunch today.

Too bad you are in FL, we could sit around commiserating with one another, e.

I almost always have peanut butter and toast in the morning, nick.

Getting older beats the alternative, but I can't remember a single day without a great deal of pain since about 2009. Ah well.

Gatto is such a nice kitty. Very photogenic.

Also, I have a ton of things that need doing here and a three day weekend in which to do them. Will they get done?

Probably not.

I am sorry to hear about your back. One takes them for granted until they hurt. I am glad you reached the goals you set for yourself.
I read a line the other day that basically said : dogs have masters cats have staff.
Take Care,
Kaye
