Tabby just finished a beer.
I don't allow cats on countertops. Mark thinks Tabs is different and should be allowed to be there if that's what he wants. I can relent, sometimes, so I try not to look, but of course I do. The compromises we make in life.

Yes, that sounds like my daughter and her husband and their pups. 😊
Compromise is what we do with our pets. Charlie sometimes likes to command the couch. I let him, it is the warmest place in the house right now.
Keeping cats off counters is like shoveling in the middle of a snowstorm:)
I have always found that the cat trains you!
Those dogs would be easy to spoil, Cheerful.
My dogs had their own sofa in the room I now call the snug, Val. They knew it was theirs. They also had a futon in the bedroom. They were accommodated!
I never had trouble until now, Pixie. Tabs is the worst of the lot.
I'm finding this out, Miss Merry. Dogs always out-numbered cats. Now it's just cats and they are taking advantage.
That looks to be a large Feline, is that a Maine Coon??
My experience with cats, extensive, is that they'll go where they want, do what they want to do..
