A House Cat's Life
A new toy for the boy.
I'm not particularly chatty these days. The mess of the US has been affecting me in a not good way. I'm going to put in some effort to get the things I talk about doing and then don't do done. The three Ds.
Love the new toy. Sorry that you're in a bad state. Question: Have you gotten back to making homemade noodle dough yet? I find it's a great mediation. Wasn't sure if that could help you or not. Tossing it out there just in case.
Oddly enough, I get it. Since last weekend was a no internet anything other than a movie time, I limit my news times. Thursday's trip released endorphins of the mind for me and I'm still up there. Do what distracts you from the mess that's going on if you can and do something you love.
PS...I got Charlie a gift too. I'll show it sometime soon.
I just came across an old photo that I can't find again now, but it was of our cat who was UNDER such a cat bed. She did that once and never got inside, so we gave it away to a more sensible cat.
The US is a dumpster fire right now, but it will pass. Make a dessert with lemon. I just had a lemon cruffin and it cheered me immensely. Take care sweetie. Sending hugs.
Yes, flood the zone so people can't keep up. I still spend a lot of time trying to keep track of the most important parts, and balance it with things that lift my spirits.
He is the only one who uses the kitty tunnel, Ivy.I would have been disappointed if they all ignored it. I made pappardelle a couple of weeks ago but that's it. My engine seems to be on idle. I did make a clafoutis!
Been deep thinking a lot lately. (Limited activity gives you lots of opportunity.) Working on changing my perspective where I can so I am not as overwhelmed. Helping some. But I need a lot more work. LOL!

The new toy for your boy makes for a really cute photo. I am sorry you are having a tough time of it. Keeping busy and stepping back from the media will be a nice break. Thinking of you and hoping you feel better soon.

I'm alarmed at what's happening in the States, and I'm 3,000 miles away. I can't imagine how distressing it must be for you.

That gift and that pup are great! I'm attempting some home improvement that I've put off. That's something I do enjoy.
