This young man is handsome and has a beautiful operatic voice. I don't like opera music but I could listen to this guy sing for a long time.

Oh, yes Pixie.

His name is Cuan Durkin. You can find him on YouTube. You can find the song with 'can't live without you' Ivy.

You, too, Viola.

You are welcome Cheerful.

I know, Sue. He is a beautiful young man. Doubly blessed.

He is now at the Royal Academy of Music. On his YouTube page he sings Elvis and Frank Sinatra and lots of others. He covers a Cold Play song. The classical training adds a new level of sound. BTW, my father was a fan of opera. I grew up listening to Maria Callas and Enrico Caruso playing on the stereo.

The opera singers you mention are amazing, Sandra! Andrea Bocelli is also a great singer! This reminds me that David Foster wanted Celine Dion, born here in Quebec and not even an opera singer, to sing with Andrea Bocelli! They did a duet entitled The Prayer and it is so beautiful and touching.

I couldn't see the video either, but when I clicked in the middle of your post, it took me to the video. A favorite old song of mine.

Sandra said...

I will look for that, Linda.

Sandra said...

Yes to both, nick.

Yes, Harry Nilsson way back when, Ami.

He has an incredible voice. I am a big fan of opera and have been since I was a child. My father was a good singer and piano player and Mario Lanza was his favorite back in those days. I would listen to Dad for hours and family and friends were always asking him to sing at parties. Thanks for sharing this young man, I will be putting him on my listening list for sure.

Mesmerizing and easy on the eye too.

I saw a video years ago with Freddy Mercury singing with an opera soprano. It was wonderful. Opera and Herb Alpert. What I listened to as a youngster, Denise. My father wasn't a singer or musician but he could dance!

yes to both, e.
