I took this photo of Gatto just now. The fellow has claimed this donation box as his own and that is that. There is no explaining them, so I don't try.
His Highness, McCool, has decided he is a house cat yet still enjoys a good lounge outside, so the deck is his outdoor version of the house. He rarely leaves it unless he decides to come inside.
Of course I have to comment on the weather. This morning the Twin Cities had a dew point of 80 degrees. You know, that state the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon used for Frost Bite Falls (International Falls) where everything was frozen? Welcome to the jungle. We have condensation on the outside of every window. The old grey mare and her herd will be staying in for the day. Yes, I will too, but this referenced Babe. Horses that have been somewhat pampered don't need to struggle in their twilight years. That was the message left for me anyway.

I think Gatto feels quite toasty in that box. It will be great come winter.
It's pretty humid here too.
As long as he isn't a burnt toasty, AC!
Awwww....Sandra, what beautiful photos of your cats. Gatto is a precious cat who knows what he wants. It is very hot and humid 😫 here in Montreal. Thank you so much for this post, dear friend. ❤️
You just *know* one of those resellers will grab that cat and make a fortune. :)
Such comfy kitties!
Humid here too. I tried turning off the AC but it was just so damp-feeling in here that I turned it back on. I'm canning again so that doesn't help.
It's not here yet! Glad all your animals are so well taken care of!
Can you estimate the temperature by how flat the cats get! The flatcatometer.
Its so nice to see the cats in the natural state, relaxed, well fed, and groomed .
Cats will always pick the spots they think make them look best....but the donation box??!! (Hey, I think I have the same toaster-and I don't blame you for donating it!!)
Our humidity has dropped, the dew point is 20 degrees lower this morning, Linda. Gatto moved in here 3 years ago like he had just bought the place!
And pity the buyer, Ami!
You are a super woman to be canning in this weather, Sue! I had the AC on yesterday, reluctantly.
I hope it never gets there, Lori. It was horrible. Mark came in after an hour in the barn looking ill, soaked through with sweat.
😂 I think you are onto something, Boud!
A couple of them, Gatto included, are a little too well fed, Tommy. I call him chunk.
Gatto has claimed the box including its' contents, Dreaming. He likes the toaster. :)
Gatto is adorable!
Our old cat lounges all day now, moving from sunny spot to a cooler spot when required. Yesterday she accidently got left outside during our downpour and she was soaked. I've never seen a cat shake like a dog before, but she did. I dried her off with a towel while she complained loudly.
Hah.... no kidding, it was muggy sultry roasty toasty yesterday and quite miserable.
Fog moved in at night across the yard and then again in the morning.
My old codgers had lots of shade and cool water so they did fine. I'm grateful for the trees on the hill in their pasture!
This old grey mare read a book.
That is a great one!
Hola, Sandra.
Este gatito es feliz a la sombra, está como un rey, ja ja
Un beso.
Te invito a visitar mi espacio (creo que no se actualiza)
Feliz dÃa
He thinks so, too, Cheerful.
I have not seen a cat do this either, Pixie. I think she was making a point.
Your old codgers have a lot of woodland available to them. That makes a lot of difference, Val. Year round.
Hola, Marisa. I was able understand most of this but I don't write in Spanish. He does like his sleeping time. Thank you for the visit.
Miserable hot Up here too, I am anxious for Winter!
We have a red toaster.
So am I FS.
I now have a white toaster, Dora.
Gatto in the Box with the Toaster sure had me Smiling.
He's there right now, Dawn.
