The Prince Of Horses

DLKS Korithian, the infamous Shaka. The horse that grabbed my heart and still holds it firmly in his hoof. Talented, opinionated and HOT, he taught me respect and he taught me to really ride. He did not tolerate fools nor anyone flopping around on his back. In his opinion, we with the two legs are the lessor life-form and we need to understand our place. He sure taught me mine, as I was put on the ground more than once by him. He is the horse that made me understand horses; that they can't be forced to do anything they aren't actually willing to do, but when we with the supposedly larger brain, come to understand a partnership with them, oh my. Shaka is the personification of independence and loyalty. He is the one horse I own which is definitely my horse. He comes like a dog when I call him, he talks to me when he sees me. I wish I could ride him again, but his arthritis says I can't. He is getting old, but he is still the Prince, and nobody does it better.
