Gatto and Jigs wanted their day in the sun.
It is cooler today but humid. The smoke is gone for now, anyway. It is nice, and the cats appreciate it, to have the two kitchen doors open. One door gives them access to this porch you see them snoozing in. We don't use it much since it started to heat up, especially after the enormous tree that sheltered it died. It had been a pleasant place for many a lunch and dinner.Stay well, my pals.

Your sweet little cat is so relaxed... I think I'll take a little nap too.
Hugs
Gatto and Jigs look so peaceful out there. I’m glad they got a good porch day. Humid or not, cats always manage to find the perfect spot.
I think cats may be much smarter than humans.
Nothing more calming than a sleeping kitty draped on a table. I'd like a Sleeping Cats calendar, one per month, different kitties lying on different unlikely objects.
Aw, what a comfortable sight!
Yay for the smoke being gone! That had to be miserable.
Sad about your tree. We have a similar situation. Our big tree needs to be cut, but if we do we will lose the major shade for our house.
Big Trees provide shade and heat reduction; when they are gone, we notice them much more.
I’m glad the smoke is gone. ❤️
I think Canada has blown the smoke the other way bc of the Predator's alarming threats.
