A couple of weeks ago I took you on a tour of my former neighborhood. When I was out and about on Tuesday I made an attempt to take some video out the car window. A thing I haven't done before and it shows.
This is the view of the very small town of St. Bonifacius. It's the closest to our house but in a different county. A busy highway runs through it so it is not exactly a bucolic sight.
This is our road and my pasture with the mares happily eating grass. This was the worst of the videos, of course. I had to take it from a distance and through the front windshield.
Later we went to the small town which is the center of the township we live in.
Somehow a certain person managed to take a photo of her feet.
Home sweet home
Tomorrow will be a day for the history books. A military parade in the United States and nationwide protests. I wish I could participate but it's not possible. Know that I am with you all over this country of ours.

Even the short videos were fun to see.
I wish I could go tomorrow, too. I will be participating with my heart and soul! :)
I love your videos and your trees are amazing.
I need practice taking videos in the car, Rita!
Left on its own this area would be a forest in just a few years. We battle saplings constantly, Pixie.
Thank you for the tour! Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Thanks for posting. Fingers crossed here too.
The roses are beautiful. I have both posters ready, my husband is finally angry enough to leave his recliner and come with me! After a huge facebook post on song suggestions and volunteers making sound tracks, it turns out no one did. I purchased a spotify subscription with no commercials and did a play list of songs of my choosing (lol) and am meeting the organizer with a speaker.
We had 200 at past protests in a nearby city and I am honestly expecting double tomorrow. So many new people are joining.
I loved your videos. It was nice to see your area and the mares.
Tomorrow is a nightmare. I never ever thought this could happen here. "They" are hollowing out our country they want just a shell of what we use to stand for.
Take Care,
Kaye
I especially love the photo of your mares. How about taking a walking video for me of your farm! I would love to see your everything! Cooled off here too.
Nothing like watch horse graze.
What fun to see your area. I enjoyed the videos and your photos very much. Delightful scene with your mares and those roses are a lovely sight.
It is pleasant to see where people live.
It's always interesting to see where others live, but I have never done a video of any of the places we've lived, so thank you.
The flowers are so pretty. Sadly, from where I am today, I can't view the video.
How nice to see your place. When I get freed up to travel, I'm coming to visit some of my Blog friends. This part of MN is something I love but haven't been back to since my Dad took me on a driving tour 30 years ago.
Love your place!
Thank you everyone for your comments.
