Living in the Tropics and Cats

It looks nearly tropical. There is some creature roaming about that enjoys impatiens. They were just dug up on the porch, but pots I have in another place have been emptied. Rabbits doing the eating, I think. Squirrels doing the digging. I prepped the porch floor for painting spring of '20, then my mother died and I spent eight months of my time in St. The next year I began the medical mystery tour, so....ya.

Today is going to be the most tolerable of the coming week, as of the latest forecast on the weather app. I have lots to do, only time will tell if I do any of it. I know the malaise has much to do with the chaos and dread surrounding all of us. Grasping the reality of the consequences, current and future, is overwhelming. Moving on.

The dining room table officially became a cat perch when Frieda moved in. Gatto has sealed the deal. I do clean the glass once-in-a-while, so I have not not completely given up on it. Cats. Can't live with them, apparently can't live without them.

I had two country style beef ribs which I decided to use in a ragu made with tomatoes I froze last year. I was able to start dinner in the afternoon and not think about it until time to eat. This evening it will be leftover egg bake. Yippee.

You have nice greenery! I bet the smoke advisory will come your way today. It is awful up here.

We got the advisory yesterday, Far Side. The honeysuckle bush is normally trimmed but I guess not this year.

So the dining room table has been commandered. You must have another table you can use? A shame about the vanishing impatiens.

Yes, nick. I have a table in the kitchen. Thankfully!

Smoke advisory here today again.
Sorry about the plants.
I know how health issues can alter big and little plans. Can't be helped.
Cats commandeer spaces all the time--lol!
Foods always looks delicious at your house. :)

The cats haven't taken over the kitchen table, then?

A shame about your flowers being "up ended". Your porch is stunning as is Gatto.
Each day is another day where the USA is being gutted hallowed out. I wonder if we will be able to recover from this anti -democratic movement. We are in crazy land.
