What I did yesterday that did not require a ladder.
Neighbor Bill gave me a large box filled with Haralson apples a few days ago. I had phyllo left from the last galette so I decided to cut up most of the apples to freeze and made this with the rest. They make a good pie. The chandelier will be done. Really.

Looks good I have some Hazen apples and need to make a crisp:)
That looks so good. I may rethink my policy on phyllo
Oh gosh that looks fabulous!!!
YUM! Have a good weekend, and yes, Mercy knows she's adorable.
I thought about making one but I had this getting old phyllo dough, Far Side. Another time.
You must have a prohibition on phyllo dough, Boud! I have become lazier by the year, so phyllo and puff pastry have a place in my freezer.
It's good, Miss Merry. The apples stay firm, I like that.
How could she not, e. It's written all over her face!
I'll have to try that! It's making me hungry. 😋
It couldn’t be any easier, cheerful.
I've got to try this!
Haven't tried this type of apple.
Easier than pie, Lori!
It was developed by the ag department of the University of Minnesota I think in the 20s. The U of M's Apple orchard has made a lot of apple hybrids. It's a firm, more on the tart side apple, Dora
If I lived close by I would knock on your door and beg shamelessly!
Hi, David! I would happily open the door and make you a cup of tea to go with the tart.
