Not Much

I know. I know.....food. We work with what we've got, right? Well, I do, anyway. Mark's lunch, his is much larger than mine. The last of the turkey sandwiches. Don't they say the messier the sandwich the better it is? This had to be a good sandwich.

I made stock with the turkey bones and will use the rest of the turkey for turkey and dumplings. I certainly used "turkey" a lot in that sentence. I'll never make a writer. But I do make soup.

We've had a little snow and it looks more festive outside with it. I have another orange tabby showing up that I'm feeding. It looks young. So many cats roaming about. The rural people don't do spay/neuter, so.....you know. They kinda break my heart.

We have appointments for our vaccinations today. We are a bit behind on this. Mark gets a reaction and was busy, so he couldn't have a day of feeling ill. Luckily, we don't get out and about much. Luckily at least contagents-wise.

This time around I didn't have much of a reaction, hoping the same for you.
We had a touch of snow also.
Not much happening here either.
That is a delicious looking sandwich.

Turkey, turkey, turkey.... :)

I am tired of Turkey! We had it for three days..leftovers and then I made turkey alfredo. Hope you don't have a reaction to the vaccinations!

That's a great sandwich. I think a photography show of wonderful sandwiches, enlarged, could be great..just sayin..

Gobble Gobble. The sandwich, he gobbled the sandwich, Val!

Anythink with avocado is a winner in my book, Boud. I wonder if anyone has done that, like a cookbook of sandwiches. I'm sure it's been done.

Time simply slips away, Miss Merry.

I still have the soup to make, Far Side, but otherwise I'm done with it, too. I haven't had a reaction since the first civid shot, so I think I'll be fine. Mrk always feels a little achy the first day.

So tall it looks like a turkey Dagwood sandwich! Looks yummy.
Hope no reactions. If it hangs around long enough you will have to name it, of course. Enjoy the freshly white ground. Everything always looks so clean.

I had to look up dagwood sandwich, Rita! I know the old comic character but not the sandwich. I could be one. I can't have another cat!

Yes it was, AC!

Yah...a dagwood. Looks delicious. I too have reached my capacity for turkey. Probably won't have it again until next Thanksgiving. Those neighborhood kitties know right where to go.

It's been a long time since I thought of Dagwood sandwiches. That brings back warm memories. ❤️. Great post.

We generally have turkey at Thanksgiving and no other time, too, Lori. I'm making soup with turkey stock and what remains of the meat today. So many cats have passed through here over the decades.

I've never heard of the sandwich, much less ate one, Cheerful! Now I know.

It was, Dora.

I'm not a fan of turkey but that sandwich actually looks good.
