Snoozing in Sunshine

In the kitchen this morning I saw the reflection of Gatto looking like he was sleeping in the ferns. It was clearer than the photo, but I still had to post it. Gatto floating in a bed of ferns. Seems appropriate.

I'm sorry I have been AWOL lately. When I get something in my mind I stick with it and I have become focused on a deeper cleaning of the house. Considering the condition of my mobility it is a slow process, but one which I am actually accomplishing. The downside is I cannot focus on more than one thing at a time, so blogland gets ignored. Then I feel bad and out of the loop. It's really quite interesting how this little community of friends I've never met can mean so much to me. The truth is it does.

Oh, how I can relate! I was doing downsizing and packing through my entire apartment for over a year! That's how slow I am--lol! But it is soooo worth the effort in the end. Please just pop in when you can. I know what you mean about your blog family. They mean so much to me, too! :)

I think we know each other well enough to guess what's up when someone doesn't post. Nothing personal.

Not pertinent to your post, but I found myself wondering if it was Gatto as in gateau as in cake? Probably not, but it has crossed my mind.

Yes, he does look like he's resting in ferns. Good luck clearing out. It does take a lot of energy.

Love this photo! The good news....you are making progress with your house and it was not long ago that you were not so energetic. All good. I'm with you on my community of friends and sure am glad I have gotten to know you over the years! Our phone calls are a bonus! Keep trucking!

Please never feel bad about not blogging or commenting. We just love it when you get back to us and tell us what you have been doing. We all understand about limited time and energy. (Yes, it's presumptuous to say "we" instead of I, but I'm guessing most people will agree.)

As you can see from the comment above, everyone understands the constraints of time and how other activities can intervene, myself included.

Take your time to do what you wish to do. That is my only thought.

I did a large clean-out about a dozen years ago. Yet, here I am, still too much stuff, Rita!!

True, Boud.

I should have named him cake, AC, he certainly has a cake-eater life! Gatto is cat in Italian. Mark wanted to name him so while I waited I called him cat. Mark finally decided he couldn't come up with a name do I simple switched to Gatto.

It really looked like it in person, e.

I get a lot of happiness talking to you, Lori. We go back to the old days of blogging.

I certainly agree, Cheerful. I never thought this would happen top fullsteam ahead me.

Thanks, Dorothy. It is a juggling act.

It's a wise thought, Val.

I agree with you about our blogging community. It’s good to take a break once in a while. Meant to say how much I liked your horse bust on the table in your latest post. A real beauty! The photo is very clever of Gatto lying in the ferns.

I saw the reflection in the window and had to try to capture it, Denise.
