Indeed

There are three types of men. The ones that learn by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest who have to pee on an electric fence to learn by themselves.

Indeed! Great quote.
I'm weary from the budget wars, and keep looking at the editorial cartoon that shows the parties arguing over the crumbs of the budget pie, sacrificing education and child services in the name of fiscal responsibility. Asshats, the whole lot of them, and the system too. Bah humbug!
Thank goodness your snow has melted and Spring is coming. How's your head? Hope your'e mended and back to normal. Whatever that means. I'm not sure if I ever was normal :)

You must be getting a real charge out of Donald Trump!

Mel, I am fascinated and repulsed observing the unraveling of a society. From an academic perspective it is interesting. Unfortunately, it is real and therefore horrifying.

Lori, Donald Trump is a symptom of a society lost. It is inexplicable that this 'birthed' thing is a topic at all. I learned in Junior High School civics that you do not need to be born on US soil to be a natural born citizens. The manipulation and cynicism of the media and politicians is astonishing. There seems to be a tacit agreement to keep this thing going. I know Obama was born in HI, but it does not matter if he was not. I KNOW I am not the only smart one in the room.
