Around here, potatoes seem to get to that place more often than onions. it always amazes me how much gets sucked up into that new growth, leaving behind that soft almost squishy bulb.
This was stuck in the back of the bin. It has quite the growth! When I saw it and thought it had been in the drawer too long, I thought, yah, me too. : )
